  • Class Descriptions

    • Chair Yoga

      Chair Yoga was created for those new to yoga, experiencing pain and/or recovering from injury, or for those who enjoy or want additional support. The chair can be used at little or as often as your body likes. This class focuses on building muscular strength, increasing lung capacity and improving balance. If getting up and down from the floor is limiting, this is your class.

    • Club Dance

      Club Dance is the most fun you've had in a gym. You want to enjoy your workout. Club Dance is a hip hop and pop music dance workout that feels more like a party than an exercise class. Club Dance is our answer to the misconception that you can't have fun and work out. Listen to your favorite songs on the radio then dance away the calories to those same popular hits. In Club Dance, you'll work out to Top 40 songs of every era of pop and hip ­hop. You'll hear songs that you know and love, songs that we know you'll love dancing to.       Group Power® will blast all your muscles with a high-rep weight training workout. Using an adjustable barbell, weight plates, and body weight, Group Power combines squats, lunges, presses, and curls with functional integrated exercises. Dynamic music and a motivating group atmosphere will get your heart rate up, make you sweat, and push you to a personal best! POWER UP!

    • Group Swim Lessons

      Courthouse Swim has been the longtime leader in the area's youth swim development. As the only Swim America club in the region and the only program running full-hour lessons, swimmers develop faster and stronger than many other programs. With only one session per week, a 6 to 1 instructor to student ration, multiple locations, and convenient month-to-month lessons, our program is designed with the busy family in mind.

    • High Fitness

      High Fitness is a hardcore, fun fitness class that incorporates interval training with music you love, and intense easy-to-follow fitness moves. It combines fun (pop songs of old and new that everyone knows and loves) with intensity (intervals, plyometrics, and cardio) with consistency (each song has specific, simple moves taught the same by all instructors) Together, they make a recipe for success, repeat participation, and results. High Fitness produces a high caloric burn and full-body toning through its carefully formulated choreography that alternates between intense cardio peaks and toning tracks. There's no better way to describe it than "Body Sculpting Fun."

      We will have the volleyball net and balls available for members to use.

      R30® will get you fitter and feeling better in only 30 minutes. It's a cardio workout that is as easy as riding a bike. Inspiring music and motivating coaching will get you to burn calories, improve muscular endurance, and build cardio fitness as you ride with surges, short intervals, power, and end with a rush. EVERYONE FINISHES FIRST!

    • Silver Stamina

      Stamina is a standing group class (chair is optional). Silver stamina is cardio class designed to increase cardiovascular endurance and capacity as well as agility, balance, and coordination.

    • Water Exercise

      Water Ex is 60 minutes of low-impact movements, using water for resistance. Water Ex is perfect for new exercisers and conditioned athletes, as well as those looking to keep training while giving their joints a much needed break. The pool is for more than swimming laps. The pool is a place full of friends, all working out to great music and an energetic Instructor. The pool could be the place where you burn fat, gain strength and flexibility, recover from injury. It could be where you have fun exercising. Participants do not need to be practiced swimmers.

    • Yoga

      A mixed-level yoga class suitable for most levels of fitness. Whether you are an experienced yogi or just interested in seeing what the hype is about, you'll fit right in to Mixed Level Yoga. The classes are structured to build heat within your body while working through classic asanas and breathing techniques to improve strength, balance, and flexibility. Our multidimensional approach will make you stronger on the outside and calmer on the inside. Intensity can vary by instructor.
